Finer Noble Gases

Directed by Gabrielle Reisman
October 9 - 25 | The Marigny Theatre

In 2009, The NOLA Project and the NOLA Indie Rock Collective joined to presentĀ FINER NOBLE GAES, the hilarious and gripping jet black comedy by one of the nations hottest young playwrights, Adam Rapp. As winter descends on New York, members of the decaying band, Less, weather it in a haze of pain pills and nature shows. But when their TV is mysteriously kicked in, band mates must brave slipping sanity and a worsening blizzard, as they attempt to reconvene.

The unique experience didĀ not end with the plays curtain however. Presented in partnership with the NOLA Indie Rock Collective, following each hour-long performance, the audience experienced a live concert by a host of New Orleans’ best indie rock bands, including White Bitch, Generationals, Green Genes, Loren Murrell, Wolves Where, City Zoo, Dirty Bourbon River Show, Pumpkin, and Sun Hotel.
