With your help, The NOLA Project has continued to successfully provide opportunities for actors, designers, playwrights and artists to flourish in our community. We are one of the largest employers of theatre artists in the state of Louisiana and regularly produce new work from both local and national writers in an effort to bring our New Orleans stories to the entire world. Help us continue to build our arts community and bring New Orleans theatre to a more prominent national level. By contributing to our organization, you will be playing an instrumental role in giving our artists the resources they need to create the best possible work with the highest standards of excellence.
Your tax-dedictible contributions are a key component to our success. Earned income through ticket sales only accounts for 60% of our annual expenses. The rest comes from individual supporters like yourself. You may donate online here or do so via check. To discuss making a donation, please email Development Chairperson Lisa Abel at email@example.com to set up an appointment.
On Thursday April 13th at 7pm, The NOLA Project announces our 2017-2018 Season in high style with the Spotlight Supper.
The Spotlight Supper will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 inside the majestically renovated and revived Felicity Church, which was built in 1850. Over the course of the evening, VIP guests will experience a five-act meal whilst connecting with The NOLA Project company members through personal backstage company stories, vignettes from the upcoming season, and finally the big reveal of our 13th Season.
Tickets to the Spotlight Supper are $150. Guests can enjoy an exclusive pre-dinner cocktail hour as well for $200 all-inclusive.
We are incredibly grateful for our volunteers who perform so many crucial tasks such as ushering, concessions selling, box office assistance, scenic builds and strikes, gala assistance, and so much more. If you are interested in volunteering your time with The NOLA Project, we would love to have you! We are a wonderful family and we'd love to have you as another member.
The NOLA Project selectively seeks interns each season to assist in our administrative tasks and learn from our leadership team. We specifically are interested in interns at the college level who have a keen interest in theatre, some background in arts administration, box office, or backstage work, and a willingness to work during traditional theatre hours. If you are interested in interning, please email us with a letter of intent and a resume.
Theatre Artists wishing to work with The NOLA Project are welcome to submit a cover letter, headshot, and resume to our artistic leadership. The NOLA Project actively seeks theatre artists with formal training and a strong ensemble mentality.*
*Note: consideration for NP Ensemble Membership only may occur after a minimum of two NOLA Project productions for any theatre artist. Members are nominated by a committee and voted upon by the entire active ensemble.
