The NOLA Project Summer Intensive is our opportunity to bring the principles of bold ensemble-based theatre to our community's young theatre artists. With a focus on group storytelling, imagination, voice, and character development, our unique program is known for bringing a more personal touch and ensemble mentality to our training and student productions.

In 2022, we are excited to present a summer student production of POWER LINE:  THE STORY OF ME, MARIO, AND YOUR MOM by Don Zolidis, directed by NOLA Project artist Jenny L. Billot. Read more about the play here.

All interested theatre students age 11-16 should apply with the assistance of a guardian by selecting the application link below. Students in need of financial aid (program cost is $500) can request this by filling out our financial aid questionnaire before applying.

Our organization is very committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for ALL students. We work to build an artistic environment that is antiracist, diverse, and inclusive of all individual identities. This production will encourage students to portray characters of differing genders, ages, and experiences of their own. We believe that the foundations of empathy and compassion are built on such artistic experiences.

If students or parents have further questions, please email NOLA Project Co-Artistic Directors Brittany N. Wiiliams (bwilliams@nolaproject.com) and A.J. Allegra (aallegra@nolaproject.com).

We cannot wait to get back on stage for the first time in more than a year with this wonderful celebration of the imagination!
