The NOLA Project is currently seeking the following artists:

Stage Manager - PETER AND THE STARCATCHER

We seek a stage manager for our student summer production of PATS. Performances occur in Loyola University's Marquette Theatre. Stage Manager should feel comfortable working with kids age 12-17, running portions of repetition rehearsal when asked, serving the director, communicating with designers, and calling/running the actual performances.

 

Dates of employment:  Rehearsals runs M-F 10am-2pm from July 17-July 30.  Weekly production meetings will be determined in collaboration with the design team. Tech week will consist of Wednesday 7/28 10-2pm, Thursday 7/29 10-2pm, and Friday 7/30 10-2pm. Total expected work hours:  85. Pay:  $1700.00

Assistant Stage Manager - PETER AND THE STARCATCHER

We seek an assistant stage manager for our student summer production of PATS. Performances occur in Loyola University's Marquette Theatre. ASM should feel comfortable working with kids age 12-17, running portions of repetition rehearsal when asked, serving the director, communicating with designers, and assisting on the actual performances.

 

Dates of employment:  Rehearsals runs M-F 10am-2pm from July 17-July 30.  Weekly production meetings will be determined in collaboration with the design team. Tech week will consist of Wednesday 7/28 10-2pm, Thursday 7/29 10-2pm, and Friday 7/30 10-2pm. Total expected work hours:  75. Pay:  $1500.00

Lighting Designer - PETER AND THE STARCATCHER

We seek a lighting designer for our student summer production of PATS. Performances occur in Loyola University's Marquette Theatre. Familiarity with the space is a bonus though not a requirement. Lighting designer should feel comfortable writing cues on an ETC Element board, focusing lights, and working collaboratively with the design team and stage management. 

 

Dates of employment:  Program runs M-F 10am-2pm from July 17-July 30. Though designers are welcome to come in to watch rehearsals with advance notice, weekly production meetings will be set in advance in collaboration with all designers. Tech week will consist of Wednesday 7/28 10-2pm, Thursday 7/29 10-2pm, and Friday 7/30 10-2pm. Designer must be present for these tech times. Total expected work hours:  25. Pay:  $500.00

Student Assistant Director (unpaid) - PETER AND THE STARCATCHER

We welcome a student (age 17-21) to work as an Assistant Director on PETER AND THE STARCATCHER. The student AD will be responsible for working collaboratively with the production director (A.J. Allegra), rehearsing portions of the show independently with students, taking and giving notes to student performers, and collaborating with the design team. 

Dates of employment:  Rehearsals runs M-F 10am-2pm from July 17-July 30.  Weekly production meetings will be determined in collaboration with the design team. Tech week will consist of Wednesday 7/28 10-2pm, Thursday 7/29 10-2pm, and Friday 7/30 10-2pm. As this is an unpaid position, work times are flexible and we can work with your schedule. 

Student Assistant Designer (unpaid) - PETER AND THE STARCATCHER

We welcome students age 17-21 wishing to work as an assistant to designers Kaci Thomassie (costumes) and Kenneth Thompson (scenic and props).

Tech week will consist of Wednesday 7/28 10-2pm, Thursday 7/29 10-2pm, and Friday 7/30 10-2pm. As this is an unpaid position, work times are flexible and we can work with your schedule.
