A ship at sea, tempest-tossed, battling against wind and water. A frenzied crew, weatherbeaten, half dreaming/half waking...
Theatre for the BOLD takes on new meaning this spring as The NOLA Project weathers William Shakespeare's THE TEMPEST. Featuring music, dance, fools, lovers, magic, and monsters, this adventurous reimagining is sure to be a feast for the senses. Following the success of DRACULA and THE COLORED MUSEUM, The NOLA Project closes out Season 19 with a stormy script adapted and directed by ensemble member James Bartelle.
SHAKESPEARE'S TEMPEST, REIMAGINED is presented in partnership with Friends of Lafitte Greenway and NORD. Join us on the Greenway (436 N Norman C Francis
Parkway) as we forge a new way forward!
