Christmas carol

by A.J. Allegra

Audio Engineered by Jared Billings

Release Date: December 16, 2020

The NOLA Project PodPlays are a brand new way for audiences to experience the excitement of new theatre from the comfort of their home.

And while we would normally throw a big party to celebrate the holidays with you, our friends, this year we must mask up and play it safe. So we have turned our beloved RATED-R CHRISTMAS CAROL into an all new audio PodPlay! Gather the family around ye old bluetooth speaker and listen in as our creative team absolutely ruins Christmas for you!

In the same skewering vein as his OREGON TRAIL: THE PLAY, writer A.J. Allegra puts an irreverent spin on Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. In this comedic retelling, Ebenezer Scrooge – miser, bigot, misogynist, and overall terrible human being – learns the true meaning of Christian charity and, most importantly, what a tremendous asshole everyone really thinks he is.
